This date picker does not allow user to type any text. Expected behaviour.

This date picker allow user to type any text in the input, i need to block user from typing any text in the input.
But if the user types any date, it should accept. The above date picker works perfect, the UI is bit old.
Please solve the issue in the below date picker.
