Hello, I am curious why you did not follow the regular format for colors. example: http://mdbootstrap.com/css/helpers/ <- Here everything is bg- or text- http://mdbootstrap.com/css/colors/ <- Here everything is color-text I recommend adding some basic instructions on how to use these. It took me awhile to figure out that you switched the format around. I finally figured this out by going through your themes. Lastly As far as I can tell this does not work with backgrounds, why? bg-grey grey-bg I have yet to hunt down your format for background and ideally something like grey lighten-3

Strange! I tried a few variations and was unable to get it to work. Ya I just double checked. The issue was with lighten and darken. They are being ignored. The background is filling with blue but that is all.

Hi, we'll improve the format, thanks for informing us. If you want to use color as a background you just need to use only a color class. For example: <div class="red"> or <div class="blue darken-2">
