Topic: Fixed SideNav not Compatible with closeOnClick

If you have a fixed SideNav and you initialize it with closeOnClick: true, then clicking an item closes the SideNav. I expected the closeOnClick to only close when the window size is small and the SideNav is already collapsed. In other words, a fixed SideNav should stay fixed on large screens.

We are already working on that. I hope update for MDB3 will be ready next week.

I see you fixed this in MDB4, but I don't see any updates for MDB3. I thought you would be supporting fixes to both products? Thanks, Jim

What about updates for MDB3? Will you be fixing stuff like this SideNav issue in that product too? Do updates to MDB3 also go on your home page? My company bought MDB so I don't get the emails.

Hi, every time we release an update we send an email to all our users, publish a news on our homepage and social media. The last release note for MDB4 you can find here: http://mdbootstrap.com/mdb4-release-note/ This week we'll probably release an update 4.0.1

There are a design patterns when you collapse your Side-Navigation also on large screens and we decide to leave it like that. However I will think about it again.
