hi, with the first issue you can set e.g.

.select-wrapper input.select-dropdown {
    max-width: 95%;
}

and with the second issue, in our docuemntation here: https://mdbootstrap.com/javascript/material-select/ I don't see this problem. Please make sure you have correct code.
