Topic: Provide CSS code of components. Really. Please.

tomesm pro asked 6 years ago

Hi Michal and others, it would be really great if a CSS code of components is provided. Rationale: When adding MDB into an existing project the mdb.css can ruin (and ruins!) the style of the project. For example, I have my own project - a small website - and I want to a "Product Card" component from E-commerce section. After loading the mdb.css (and othe staff) and putting the code into my code, the mdb.css has totally ruined my own style (navbar buttons, contact form etc). The mdb.css is in conflict with my own bootstrap-based css stylesheet. It is extremly annoying (mdb.css has more that 13k lines for PRO version which I have) to look up all the classes and delete the rest of the unused css in mdb.css (this is only solution I came up with). Therefore I suggest providing css code (together with the html) for each component. This will give us a chance to build our own custom mdb.css. Lets's say you provide some kind of "basic" mdb.css with the necessary MDB mixins, variables etc., and we will just be adding the css for our components. Please, let me know how do you feel about that.
