Hi, How do I get the Material Select to work with Validation so that it is shows green or red bottom border depending on whether it is valid like with other input controls. Without this it looks inconsistent with other controls. Also other controls show a tick or a cross to the right. Is this also possible?

Create a hidden field, use jquery to update the value to it. using formvalidation.io you can use this technique: http://formvalidation.io/examples/using-hidden-field-technique/

Hi, In this moment we don't have functionality material select with validation. We will enter this functionality in the future. Best, Marta

Hi, For example, it maybe a required field and you may not have selected a value (i.e.) value is 'Select an option'. In which case the field is invalid.

Hello, could you explain how this material select with validation should work? How we can know which options are valid and which are wrong? Because in input field email or password can be valid or not but can't imagine how validation should works in material select. Best, Marta
