Which MDB Angular project do you use? MDB Angular 5 (
mdb-angular-ui-kit) and MDB Angular 4 (angular-bootstrap-mdor `ng-uikit-pro-standard) or completely different products and they have different component syntax.If you use MDBA4 v12.0.0 as you mentioned in the specification of the issue, you can find inputs documentation here: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/angular/forms/inputs/#outline-inputs
