IE11, IE10

When we use the nav-bar (among some others) there are problems on IE11, has this library been tested on IE11? Angular is compatible with IE9, and I would have expected compatibility with IE11 at least, let alone IE10. What should I know about this topic? In IE11 after pollyfills have been installed, we get "append is not a function of..." errors.
