I understand that you cannot combine wide and tall images in one lightbox, but I am curious how to put tall images in the gallery with the zoom making the photo look normal sized instead of wide

Dear ayseboogie,
This problem will be fixed in next version of MDB Angular. If you need workaround for now, you can overwrite this styles:
mdb-image-modal .ng-overlay .ng-gallery-content > img {
width: auto;
max-width: 100%!important;
}
