Topic: Tab animations aren't working (or in general)

ak.leimrey pro asked 6 years ago

Currently using.

ng-version="5.1.1"

CLI-version="1.5.5"

Well, basically as the title says. I just VERY recently acquired the pro version and... well, at first I was pleased I could include the rather pleasant-to-look-at Tabs from the examples on https://mdbootstrap.com/angular/components/tabs/

While components like headers, footers work splendidly out of the box (I mean the examples), the tabs don't seem to work at all. The tab is constantly stuck on the first pill. When I look at the URL I see that they're being picked, but that doesn't trigger neither the animation NOR the switch; It remains stuck on the first pill. I used the manual installation until I can get access to the GIT Installation. While I took a wild guess that somebody else must have encountered that issues, I only saw one more question that basically said that I - potentially - fix the issues by including the popper.js BEFORE the bootstrap.js. Which I don't see how. I mean, my assumption was that in a pro-quick-project setup of the manual installation it should be included?

I would be thankful for a timely response.

Soft of Fixed? I have no real clue WHAT exactly was the cause for that issue. I created another project and went through the same steps and this time it worked.

Dear ak.lemirey, could you please share your code exmaple as we cannot reproduce the issue?

The example for the classic tabs doesn't work for me. The other ones seem to work just fine. https://mdbootstrap.com/components/tabs/#classic-tabs

Dear ak.lemirey , it looks like you are using wrong documentation (jQuery). Please make sure that you are using correct version for Angular: https://mdbootstrap.com/angular/components/tabs/#classic-tabs

First, I have to apologize for the very delayed response. The moment you mentioned this, I couldn't believe it. Yes, I was redirected to the JQUERY version of the page and didn't notice this when it happened. A shameful moment, but at least the problem has been solved, thanks to you!
