*_Expected behavior_*While using file-input, after selecting the file, the path with filename to be displayed. Even from the templates, it is not working
Should we need to add any js code?

If you want to use drag and drop file upload you have to add small jQuery code. But when you are using other file inputs then none of js is required.

Thank you for the feedback.
I am using exactly the same code as in example. It does not work. My mdb CSS and JS file is from dashboard template kit. As I said it is also not working in the dashboard templates. Please check \html\forms\basic in your dashboard template.
Pl. suggest me the changes I need to do in mdb.css or jquery file. I can also do it manually.

Drag and drop file upload is not included in MDB dashboard UI kit. This component is located in MDB PRO package. Moreover, normal file input is included in Dashboard UI kit. You can download pro version of our package and copy drag and drop js and scss file into Dashboard kit
