Topic: Fontawesome Pro Icons not aligning in button

twentyfour pro asked 6 years ago

Hi all, I use the Font Awesome Pro icons and they don't seem to align to the center when using several copy/paste codes, including this one: <div class="row"> <!-- Grid column --> <div class="mb-r col-md-3"> <a type="button" class="btn-floating btn-sm btn-tw"><i class="fab fa-twitter fa-2x"></i></a> <a type="button" class="btn-floating btn-sm btn-fb"><i class="fab fa-facebook-f fa-2x"></i></a> <a type="button" class="btn-floating btn-sm "><i class="fab fa-linkedin-in fa-2x"></i></a> </div> <!-- Grid column --> </div> Is this a known issue? Thanks for all your help, kind regards, 24

Dear 24, Thanks for contributing to the support forum! The issue has not been reported before, but it's probably because the snippet does not follow our documentation. We do not support Font Awesome 5 re-named classes (like fab, far, fas or fal) for the time being. In turn, the icon buttons used at MDB get aligned as you want them to. With Best Regards, Kuba

Ok thank you ! I'll have another look at it and if I find a solution, I'll share it with you.

Renaming .fab to .fa should solve the issue, but thanks! Let us know. Kuba
