Topic: Grouped Material Select with Placeholder Option

ijabit free asked 6 years ago

It looks like I can’t use a placeholder option with the optgroup grouped select? Can I do something like this: <select id="application-connection" disabled> <option value="" disabled selected>Choose an application</option> <optgroup label="Application 1"> <option value="1">Option 1</option> <option value="2">Option 2</option> <option value="3">Option 3</option> </optgroup> </select>

I think it was my fault. The code above seems to be working just fine. Thanks.

I'm not quite sure what exactly result would you like to achieve. Could you provide any external link to working example?

Yes, if I have the Options Groups, does it work if I add in a placeholder?

Do you mean something like Options Groups of Material Select?
