Topic: How do I update the scss to use a different pallet?

Edgar Humberto pro asked 7 years ago

Hello, I want to know if there is an easy way to switch out the color pallet. I see a teal pallet but I am not sure how to set it as the default.

Yes that is exactly what I was looking for.

Hi, In sass files you need to find _color.scss file (sass/mdb/free/data/_colors.scss) and here you can change variables $default-color, $primary-color, $secondary-color etc. to teal pallet. Is this information answer your question? Best, Marta

I want to switch the default pallet to $teal. Right now I have the default colors "blue header" and such. Can you point me to the correct sass file to change this out in and what part I need to change. I assume I just have to pass in the $teal variable into something.

Hello, Could you specify what exactly you would like to set as the default? Because you can change colors in MDB SASS files as you wish. Please write more details and I will help you. Best, Marta
