Topic: Register forms: text is shown over data

Abelardo León González free asked 6 years ago

Hi MDB staff,

I am using your register form displayed at this page.

When I am entering the email, the title "Your email" overlaps my name. This also happens with the rest of fields.

You can see the annoying effect at this picture.

By other hand, the HTML code is simple. It consists in three parts:

  • a navbar section.
  • the register form (enclosed into a div tag with no attributes; so, it is empty).
  • the footer.

Let me know if I am doing any wrong.

Kindest regards.

Hi,

I don't see your code so I'm not sure how to help you but look at this: https://github.com/Dogfalo/materialize/issues/194 - here is a lot of solutions for this issue.

Best,

Marta

Hi, I've checked your code on Opera browser (Version: 47.0.2631.71 - Opera is up to date) on Mac (MacOS Sierra 10.12.5 (16F73)) and everything looks fine and I cannot reproduce the problem. You have to give me more information if I have to reproduce this issue. Best, Marta

Hi, I am having the same issue. Here is my different scenarios 1.) I imported the modules in the app.module.ts and test if forms will work on the app.component.html then it works just fine. But when I created another module and lazyload it in app.routing.ts the forms is not working properly. I would like to know how do you use the framework? 2.) I have created a module login.module.ts for example and remove MDB import modules from the app.module.ts and move it to login.module.ts and the forms workd perfectly fine again. I wonder how do you properly use the framework? Thanks a lot! My hint was the mdb modules should be import only per module and not in the main app.module.ts. Please correct me if my wrong, based on my own investigation.

Hi,

I've checked your code and it seems to look fine. Could you tell me what is the exact version of MDB you use? You can check this in README.txt file which is inside your MDB pack.
