We actually take Bootstrap Components and style them to match Material Design. installing Bootstrap or Angular Material independently and trying to use it may cause errors in the application. So, if we install MDB, we can use the base Bootstrap examples on the Bootstrap site without installing Bootstrap? Or, are you saying that MDB has an equivalent for each class name, therefor no need to ever use standard Bootstrap classes?

Each MDB package has built-in Bootstrap classes that are styled by the MDB team to match Material Design. You can, of course, use general Bootstrap classes in our packages but we recommend using our documentation to check how you can achieve your desired functionality or component, as there might be some differences from the Bootstrap, e.g. naming data-attributes.
