Topic: using modal in navbar

im using MDB 4.0.2 PRO im trying to place simple cart modal button on my navbar. when i do, it throws off where the notification shows up and the modal opens up but wont close. can anyone help me figure out what in the navbar is blocking the button/modal?

Hi, you only need to add this attributes to your tag (data-toggle="modal" data-target="#basicExample") and you don't need add button like in your screenshot. If you know thata dn you need help with button styles probably add class btn-sm to your btn tag

Hi Adrian, Here is a screen shot of what happens when i put the modal and button in the navbar https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxoty4CDYZQ_ZnpNV0ltSG5TbVE/view?usp=sharing i began with the half carousel template and i like it but if i try to include the simple cart modal. i get the results you see in the image i linked to. any suggestions?
