Topic: Calendar plugin - missing functionality displayed in the preview
patrickkusebauch free asked 4 years ago
Expected behavior
To have stylized modal as displayed in the calendar plugin preview image located here: https://mdbootstrap.com/img/Marketing/products/jquery/plugins/fullpage-calendar.jpg
I was under the impression that the modal is part of the plugin and there was no way to check this without buying the plugin. This was the draw of the plugin for me, as styling the calendar itself is not too difficult. But FullCalendar does not provide modals by default, therefore the modals were the premium feature I bought this plugin for.
Not to mention that this stylized calendar is already part of the admin template, therefore there is no added value by buying the standalone plugin if it does not have the modals.
Actual behavior
The modal presented in the examples is the default browser modal - no styling whatsoever.

Hi!
You can check in our documentation which components are free, pro, or needs an additional purchase. For example - basic modals are free (https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/jquery/modals/basic/), but some features need a pro package (https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/jquery/modals/additional/). I can see in your orders that you bought an MDB jQuery Pro package, so you can use these features :)
In Calendar Plugin docs (https://mdbootstrap.com/plugins/jquery/full-calendar/) you can see there is nothing about modals.
Modal from your screen is made from free features and its style is close to this one https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/jquery/modals/additional/#modalRelatedSec
Best regards

I see 2 problems: 1. The marketing materials for the calendar plugin (the screenshot I linked is the official MDB screenshot) clearly display a modal as part of the plugin. Your answer that the documentation does not mention it is like buying a brig house base on pictures and when arriving at the place seeing just a stack of brigs and a note that you can build the picture from the brigs provided. It is misleading at best and downright illegal at worst.
- In that case, can you explain to me what is the difference between MDB Pro (templates) that contain the calendar in the admin template and the standalone calendar plugin? The impression given again by your marketing materials that it is the modals.
If that is not the case there is no difference from my end and I paid for a feature I already bought as part of MDB jQuery Pro and I would like a refund.
