Topic: Can first column of datatable be made sticky when scrolling horizontally?

I've just started to assess your product. I have a need to display some data in a spreadsheet-like format. I also need the ability to freeze the top row and the first column. So, I thought that datatables could provide a solution. The vertical and horizontal scrolling works fine but I can't see an option to freeze the first column. Is there some workaround or can you offer some suggestions? Cheers, John

Hi, for now, we don't have this option for our data tables. We will think about it in the future. Best, Marta

Thanks Marta for the suggestion. I hadn't yet discovered some of the possible solutions in yours. I was specifically looking at being able to freeze both the first column and the table header - just like you can with Excel. Was also wondering whether there was a solution that would work with Bootstrap and preferably MDB. Would your suggestion be compatible with MDB datatables ? Cheers, John
