Forms -&#38;gt; Select -&#38;gt; Options groups

I recognized an issue using on Forms -> Select -> Options groups (no mulit select)

If I add a "selected" to any option element (not the first one) the preselected value is wrong. It depends on the number of groups. I assume the JS does not ignore the "optgroup" elements within the "select" Element.

Any ideas for a quick hack?

Any updates when this will be fixed or any hotfix? I have the problem in V 4.8.8 and it's really annoying.

Hi,

here, in the documentation: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/jquery/forms/multiselect/#v-3 everything looks good. If I check out the wrong issue, please will explain to me what should I check to fix the problem.

Hi Marta,

It is not a problem of multiselect. Only the "single select" with option groups dosen't work properly. Please check the code snippet of IngoJust https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/jquery/ingojust/967910 There you can see the problem.
