We are using mdbootstrap as a git submodule in our project , Our build system is depending on your repository - If this outage occurs frequently we can't build our project. Can you suggest any alternatives

I agree - the reliability on your self-hosted GitLab isn't as good as it could be. As you are a relatively small team I guess you don't have 24x7 ops staff, but you could consider moving the pro repos to a paid service and passing that cost on in the form of an optional subscription. Many MDB Pro customers may be happy with downloading the zip files or just sticking with your own GitLab service. For those, like me, who need reliable access to the repo for a CI/CD build pipeline, a yearly subscription for access to the source repos, with an SLA attached, might be an attractive option. I'd certainly be happy to pay a couple of bucks per month to cover the costs of Google Cloud Source Repositories or AWS CodeCommit repos (two of the least expensive options).

Currently having the same issue. I would suggest to host your local clone of the repository on your own server or some cloud server (such as, https://www.scaleway.com ), and then periodically pull the latest changes from git.mdbootstrap.com and push them to your repository.
