I'll try to help but unfortunately, there are some issues of IE that even Microsoft resigned to fix, look at here, please: https://mdbootstrap.com/support/urgent-help-please-landing-page-event/. But if you want to fix the intro of your portfolio, you can try to remove
.flex-center from here <div class="container flex-center"> and paste it here <div class="full-bg-img">, I think it helps you a little. And about the cards within tabs, we'll try to fix this in next release if it will be possible.
