Topic: Material colors scrollbar, gradient scrollbar and scrollbar options – Firefox

Hi all,

Do the following not work in Firefox ?

Material colors scrollbar
Gradient scrollbar
Scrollbar options

All I get is the standard grey scrollbars.

P.S. There is a bug in the version number when you edit a post. I can not enter 4.5.5 as I did when I created the post.

Hi, unfortunately, Firefox doesn't deal with that problem for 16 years, as you can see here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77790. There are workarounds like these: https://github.com/utatti/perfect-scrollbar, https://github.com/jnicol/trackpad-scroll-emulator. For now, we don't have a workaround in MDB package, but we will try to fix this in the future. Best, Marta

Thank you Marta, I did not know that about Firefox, I do now. I was not using them, just noticed when I was browsing the 'JavaScript/Scrollbar & smooth scroll' section and I thoutht ro myself 'Strange all these scroll bars look the same' so I tried in Chrome and it worked. I thought it was an issue with MDB which is why I brought up the question, thank you again for putting me straight. I am surprised no one in the community answered before you. Andre
