I would like to autoselect predefined value, or old value that came from eg a validation page on registration.

I 've put searchable and data-placeholder. the option (in select options), is marked as selected but mdb don't display in input. However it seems to conflict as it adds this line<option value="" selected="" disabled="" data-mdb-placeholder=""></option> and i think it recognizes this as selected. But this is not the expected.Do i miss some option?
