I downloaded the free version and followed the instructions on https://mdbootstrap.com/education/bootstrap/quick-start/The card showed up as expected but there was no response to a button click.inspection gave the following console message:

DevTools failed to parse SourceMap: file:///C:/mdb/js/popper.min.js.mapDevTools failed to parse SourceMap: file:///C:/mdb/js/bootstrap.min.js.mapDevTools failed to parse SourceMap: file:///C:/mdb/css/bootstrap.min.css.map

what am I missing here?

Even if I just download MDB-Free_4.14.1.zip, unpack it, it gives an error: enter image description here

I think my basic configuration may not be ok?
