The update from 4.5.10 to 4.5.11 introduces many changes in syntax and classes, etc. In general regarding all updates, is there a smooth way to update to the latest version without breaking the code of your current website? Or to easily find and fix the changes?

sometimes we need to change the syntax of our components because technology is changing all the time. And I know it's not easy to change each class in the projects but if you want to have the newest, updated package you have to find changed classes in your project and just replaced them with the newest ones.
