Topic: Webpack Error "Can't resolve chart.js"

Kiril free asked 4 years ago

I'm getting "Can't resolve chart.js" when including mdbpro in my webpack config.

This is the line in the webpack.config: import 'mdbootstrap-pro';

Do I have to include other import?

OK, I install chart.js and it compiles OK now but when I run the program I get this message in the console: Cannot assign to read only property 'exports' of object '# from mdb.min.js

Hi. This is a problem with the webpack configuration. We try to create the perfect config, in which there will be no problems.

Any development with the webpack issue? We really need this to work, we can't go in production with librairies on the side not included in our webpack compilation.

Hi,

We're working on it all the time. But we need more time for this.

Best, Grzegorz

Common guys, it's been at least 3 months now that the Webpack issue has been noticed. You should have resolve this by now! We have bought a package to save time in our development and we're stuck because of that thing!

Hi.

Sorry about that. The only thing we can suggest at the moment is that the problem appears after installation by npm. If adding our package to the assets folder (or another one where you store external libraries in your project), the problem should disappear.
