Topic: Autocomplete Validation not working

Tobias.Weber priority asked 2 years ago

*Expected behavior*Autocomplete should only be valid if a user select a value from the dropdown list.

*Actual behavior*If I use :isValidated="false" and :isValid="false" it will be directly overwritten if one character is typed in the text field and the field is now valid.

Hi! This validation is working thanks to required props in autocomplete component and is checking if the input is empty or not. Unfortunately Autocomplete is not supported by our validation for now (validation). We will discuss this in our team. Best Regards!

Thank you. There is a Validation Section in the Autocomplete Element Documentation (https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/vue/forms/autocomplete/#section-validation) so it suggests that this function exists. Hopefully the very important function will be available in the next release :-)
