Topic: MDBSelect Resort Options

Bruckner priority asked 2 years ago

Expected behavior

As a user i want to have options sorted as below:

  1. selected options (in alphabetical order)
  2. unselected options (in alphabetical order)
  3. disabled options (in alphabetical order)

To accomplish that, i'm sorting the array behind :v-model:options on @change-event.

Actual behavior

Sorting works but select-box offers a strange behaviour. --> e.g.: Select China and try to deselect it.

Hi! We're planning to add a sort prop in the upcoming release, which is likely to be on 04.05. It will function as you've described earlier and will be included in API section. Best Regards!

We have decided to hold off on implementing the proposed changes due to unforeseen complications that have arisen. As a result, we will need to wait until the next release to make any modifications. Sorry for the inconvenience.
