Is it possible to use a top bar in navbars!

Dawid Adach pro answered 6 years ago

Dear rockrude, You cannot use 2 navbars at the same time. Material Design doesn't allow that on purpose - it doesn't work correctly on mobile devices. Please, note that on the website which you have shared one of the bars is missing while browsing on the mobile devices. This is definitely nota user nor mobile firednly. Please keep in mind that currently most of the guides suggest "mobile first" approach, therefore, making something available only on the desktop violate best practices. However, if you still want to do that, you can create a custom bar and hide it on mobile devices using bootstrap classes. You will have to also add a margin to the navbar but please not that we do not recommend that.

Dawid, Could you not use a fixed header and place the nav in that? Then you could have content above it fixed aswell.

Ollie, I've missed your message. Technically possible, still not recommended.
