Topic: Cannot do production build with 4.3.1

Andrew pro asked 6 years ago

This (closed) problem was noted here: Failed to load resource when upgrading project from 4.2.0 to 4.3.0.  Unfortunately, the workaround suggested only works for me on development builds. I still get an error related to the completer-list-item when doing an AOT production build.

thats great news, thank you.

Hi, sorry we don't support AOT at the moment. It was causing some troubles and so we decided to remove it. We will think about adding it in the future.

Andrew pro commented 6 years ago

What? AOT is an integral part of any Angular production build. How can you even consider promoting/selling a product without AOT?

Łukasz Salamon pro commented 6 years ago

Agree with Andrew. And according to Adrian's responses in you are looking to fix it asap.

riccy pro commented 6 years ago

with AOT my app loaded in ca. 1 second. now just because of mdb-angular I had to remove AOT. The app now takes about 4-6 seconds to load. "thinking about adding AOT in the future" shouldn't be considered an option. please fix this asap.
