Topic: mdb-image-modal - navigation issue

Guijarro free asked 4 years ago

Expected behavior Navigation shouldn't be affected in the places where mdb-image-modal is placed.

Actual behavior If a mdb-image-modal is inserted into a component, this completely breaks the navigation functionality of the app. When we click the 'back' button in the browser (or window.history.back()) - the app/navigation jumps around and becomes a disaster. I believe you guys should tag this as an urgent task, as it really breaks the website.

Can you provide the part of your code?

Gay pro commented 4 years ago

Hello, thanks for this quick answer. Actualy I'm on version 8.3 it's because of the ngAfterViewInit code of ImageModalComponent which add window onpopstate function which breaks history. (I have 3 ImageModalComponent on my website) But this code has been removed in version 8.9 and it walks so I'm going to update my ng uikit version to 8.9
