Unaware that this site rerouted via MDB5 while searching for latest support version for MDB4, I updated my project to Angular13. Doing so left my project broken upon startup. Under the false belief that A13 support existed, I painstakingly spent the day troubleshooting one error after another and eventually was able to get the project working. Through steps I have yet to reproduce for coworkers, I managed to update my project to Angular13 running the current MDB4 version back in December 2021. We have been anxiously waiting for this release since then and are now learning the "planned" date went from "in the upcoming weeks" to "07.03.2022". This is unacceptable and I am now highly motivated to work overtime until I have completely removed MDB4 and replaced everything with a more reliable alternative.

Any update on this? Today it is 14th of March :)I by the way use MDB 4 V12 in Angular 13 projects and it works well.

Am I just lucky?

We had to move the release date to March 21 due to some problems with the library build. We apologise for any inconvenience.

One question: we currently use MDB 12 with Angular 13 and it works fine, are we just lucky?

@Schermbecker Usually when we prepare a major update, we do not immediately switch to using the latest Angular functionalities, available only in the new version (until such a change is not absolutely necessary).

So there is a possibility that adding the current MDB version to an app with Angular 13 will not break the entire app immediately, but we can never be sure until we add all the changes suggested by the Angular team and check all components thoroughly.
