Topic: Using FontAwesomeModule for Angular makes icons broken
estalis free asked 2 years ago
Basically, i am using FontAwesomeModule for angular. Here's how im using an icon:
<fa-icon [icon]="['fas', 'clock']"></fa-icon>
Therefore, the code of MDB is not working because it uses the i tag directly: https://pastebin.com/byYiRDDK
Is it possible to either make mdb icons working again, either the possibility to "override" the content of mdb-timepicker-toggle ? So I could fix this by: https://pastebin.com/HenCYkSh
thanks.
EDIT: sorry for using pastebin, the editor is completely broken.

In v5.1.0 we added new MdbDatepickerToggleIconDirective
that allow to create a custom icon template for the Datepicker using ng-template
.
You can find more information in the documentation: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/angular/forms/datepicker#subsection-icon-template

@estalis Unfortunately, currently it is not possible to completely override the content of the time picker toggle icon. I added this to our to-do list and we will check if we can provide a way to use a custom template in such cases.
