Topic: Fixed button doesnt work

Hi

i have the following fixed button on my page. I realized now, that after the update to 4.6 probably - it stopped working. you click on tl, and it just does the waves animation, but no trigger to the href at all. just stays on the same page

this is the code:

</div>

What could the reason be?

I seem to remember an old issue, but was sure it had been fixed.

Hi,

this has not been fixed in the previous release because we focused on improving the admin dashboard template. But we will fix that bug with a button for sure soon.

I've just checked with MDB Pro 4.6.0 and it seems to work even with Material Icons. Please check my snippet

The "broken" href is a bug that will be fixed in the nearest future

Thank you - this is VERY SERIOUS bug... that essentially means that the button is useless, as it cannot do anything... I mentioned this bug months ago, and am so suprised it hasnt been fixed yet!

Now that's really unbelievable that you don't fix this serious bug - can you imagine how much time it costs for your customers to figure out why a href does not work when it is styled as a button?? We are waiting for this since 2 years - two! We don't need features but we need a working CSS framework
