Expected behavior Gradient cards should open on click like they do in other browsers. help please

Actual behavior The gradient card is acting just like an image, cant open, cant read anything inside the card. Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.) show by MDB own code here... just dont work. https://mdbootstrap.com/plugins/jquery/extended-cards/#gradient-cards
