It's an awful issue caused by using gulp-zip. I've already reported this issue to gulp-zip's team, but haven't received any reply yet. I've installed The Unarchiver and this resolved my issue. Could you please try to use The Unarchiver too? You can get it here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-unarchiver/id425424353?mt=12 Please, note that recommending The Unarchiver is just a temporary issue - we're trying to find a solution that will allow Mac user to extract the archive using any softwareBaustein pro commented 6 years ago
Thanks for your response. That was the app I used to unzip the folder, but all the extracted folders are still empty. Is this an issue with Windows as well? Can I unzip from windows?Bartłomiej Malanowski staff commented 6 years ago
Yes, I can. Could you please share your package with me? I'd like to check what's going on with your package. Here's my e-mail: b.malanowski@mdbootstrap.comBartłomiej Malanowski staff answered 6 years ago

I had issues extracting and then opening the folders. Looks like there is no execute permission for owner and group on all the files in the archive. I resolved these by using unzip tool in command line (unzip somefile.zip -d somedir) then adding execute permission on all directories and files (chmod -R 775 somedir).
