You can then use data attribute with an equal sign. Like this: data-mdb-calendar-init="true"

calendar plugin get error on data-mdb-calendar-init
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State Warning Validation (HTML5): This attribute name must be followed by an equal (=) sign and a value. If the value is in quotation marks, the quotation marks must match.
