Topic: Custom SCSS (colors, typo, etc.)

Alaya pro asked 6 years ago

Hello,

I've been searching this forum for the best solution to make my custom skins. For example, I want to change the colors and the typo.
I don't think it's a good Idea too edit any files in the /dist/scss/core folder. Because when I will update mdboostrap, all my custom modifications will be deleted, right ?

So, I think it will be better to create custom file, like : _colors_custom.scss and @import it inside mdb.scss just after the @imporat of core/colors
Is that the good way ?

And also, why there is also colors declaration in _variables.scss ? What's the point ?

Yes, of course You can import Your own scss file as You wrote above. Also You can add Your scss to dist/scss folder and compiler will transform it into css file. Then You can import it as css as well. Regards
