Topic: Installing Pro via NPM

duckjones free asked 5 years ago

I'm having a bit of trouble getting started using MDB Pro in my existing app, so I came here looking for steps, since the Readme in the Pro repo didn't really have much in the way of instructions on using the repo in an existing project, except a reference to running "npm remove-demo", which didn't work.

I'm seeing posts from folks who have been using an npm include in their package.json which leverages an oauth token to get the Pro version, but I wasn't given any sort of instruction on how to do that. Could someone advise on how to get the oauth token so I can give that a try?

Hi,

Here is the link to the complete guide for the adding mdbreact package to the existing project:

https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/react/getting-started/quick-start/#existing

Click on the PRO button and you will see the detailed information.

Best regards.

We're using the following entry in package.json:

"mdbreact": "git+https://oauth2:YOURKEYGOESHERE@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/react/re-pro.git",
