Expected behavior Works as is fine but would like to modify actual icon if possible So is it possible to modify existing Icon "currently star"to replace with modified star and if so how. Actual behavior

Our <MDBIcon> and other components that use an icon prop are configured to work only with Font Awesome. If you want to add your custom icon you need to do on your own ( one of many ways: write your own icon component - maybe this documentation page helps you with that ).
Unfortunately, it's not possible to use MDBIcon or prop icon with your custom icons.
