Topic: Pro How to start - Pro Download link vs git repository

hartatovich pro asked 6 years ago

So i just got my self a pro version of mdbReact
  1. I'm not sure how to start with the download folder  - the code contains src and public folder so i'm not so sure how to start with my own code etc any good tips to do that ? maybe a quick example ?
  2.  what is the difference between the public git hub repository and the private download link of mdbReact? can i install the pro version  as a dependency ?
thanks :)

Hi, I also purchased the pro react version and have not received any emails regarding how to access the pro features or how to add MDB pro to an existing react project. Thanks, Paul

Hello,

On our Github repositiory we provide only the free version of MDB React.

For quick start this short instruction might be helpful for You: https://mdbootstrap.com/react/react-bootstrap-getting-started/

Of course You can use MDB React as dependency - to import our component You'll just need to write 'import { ... } from 'mdbreact'

If You download only our package, just type 'yarn', then 'yarn start' and You'll see our React documentation pages as default.

Regards

Looks like this answer is about how to install free version my question is about the Pro I'm not sure about the folder structure , src , public ,dist so i really don't know how to start a new project regards folder structure and all that Its not that i'm looking for copy paste stuff or html templates / examples I'm just not sure how to work with the pro folder , what is the best practice with that pro folder is there a repository for the pro that i can use ? and the second question is how to install the PRO version as a dependency because going from npm/yarn seems like will install the free version

Working with the pro folder is in fact identical as working with the free folder. All our components are registered in the index.js file and You are able to import them from the same place ('mdbreact') no matter if it is free or pro component. Reffering to the pro repo problem we'll contact You soon and give You appropriate permission.
