Expected behavior I would like to set a separate sort value for each cell so column sorting will use that specific value instead of the value in the table cell.

Actual behavior A column is sorted on the exact value in the table cell.

Maybe you could add to the Datatables API -> a Options (cell) API so I can render a data-mdb-sort-value="my value" in a table cell and it will use that value to sort the column on.
