Topic: datatables Basic example css issue - Rows per page dropdown box shown 3 times
Mat Siems priority asked 2 years ago
Expected behavior - should show datatables: "Basic example - HTML markup" https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/data/datatables/
Actual behavior "Rows per page" dropdown box shown 3 times (instead of 1)
Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.) in my html have this css:
and this js at the bottom:
Do I need anything else to show properly as per the basic example?

Actually, it looks like you have too much. mdb.min.js
is the only JS file you need. You don't need to import datatables separately. Same for the CSS.
If removing it doesn't help please recreate your bug in the snippet since I need access to your code to see what is wrong.

hi,
This is my basic example: https://www.top100christmas.com/mdb/datatables with the css dropdown issue.
I'm using the manual installation (https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/getting-started/installation/) accessing the MDB library from my FastAPI App, importing the css and JS.
Is there anything else I need to do?

Do you mean that there is something wrong with the page or with your code when you tried to use this component? To use the basic example you don't need any CSS or Js, but you need to make sure that the MDB package is properly linked in your HTML file.
