I expect the "dateChange.mdb.datepicker" event fire, when user clicks on "CLEAR" button and closing dialog.
No 'dateChange.mdb.datepicker' event fires, when value is emptied out on the UI.

dateChange.mdb.datepicker event fires whenever the date is changed. When closing dialog, the close.mdb.datepicker event fires. At the time there is no event which will cover the Clear operation itself.

I would argue, when date changing from a normal date type valid value into a NULL is a change, which should be reflected in event call
