Topic: DatePicker Javascript Error (confirm-date-on-select)

KunLeiSys priority asked 2 days ago

We have used v8.2.0 and had a javascript error on the DatePicker-Component, if the option "confirm-date-on-select" is true.

We now have upgraded to v9.3.0, but the error is still present. It´s on all major browser and also on your docs-page: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/forms/datepicker/#section-confirm-date-on-select

There are no apparent functional problems, the error seems to be related to closing the datepicker modal.

Have a look to the MDB-Docs: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/forms/datepicker/#section-confirm-date-on-select

Thats what I am testing. It doesn't show any errors for me. I checked on other PC aswell and still no error in the console.

Can you check if the issue is visible in Incognito mode?

Yes, this also occurs here in incognito mode.

I have now tested this on several devices, and the error occurs everywhere. Here are the steps to reproduce it:

1) Open the link: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/forms/datepicker/#section-confirm-date-on-select 2) Open the date picker in the example “Close without confirmation” 3) Select a date in the date picker (click on it) >> the console displays the error

We cannot recreate this issue. Im adding this to our list so that we can monitor it further.

Thank you

It´s only, when i click a date in the datepicker and the option "confirm-date-on-select" is enabled. Without that option i have to addional click on "OK" or "Close" to close the datepicker-modal, wich working without that error!

And yes, that error throws anytime on click a date.

Chrome Console

Hi, what kind of error are you seeing? It doesnt throw anything for me when i check the console on Firefox and Chrome. I'm checking the example you have pasted from our docs.

Do you see the error every time the modal closes? Or when something specific is clicked?

Have a look to the MDB-Docs: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/forms/datepicker/#section-confirm-date-on-select

The example (Close without confirmation) also thows that error!

In Firefox: Uncaught TypeError: 'querySelector' called on an object that does not implement interface Element.

In Chrome: Uncaught TypeError: Illegal invocation
