I figured it out, but my statement stands, the solution is counterintuitive and will be causing problems. When the user selects the date, then switch the tab to select the time and the end presses OK, the EVENT WILL NOT FIRE. Only works, when the user selects date, clicks OK (here the expected behaviour would be to close the modal and receive the event change. But instead of that time modal pops up and once I filled that one out, getting the change event. I spent significant amount of time around UI-s, if I got lost, the user will be too!
