Topic: Generic Placeholder with Input Mask
I can't seem to get a generic placeholder to display while a mask is in place. I'm a new user so maybe I'm missing something.
Expected behavior
I have a placeholder of Enter Zip Code inside a text field and I want to use the Input Mask Plugin to limit the user to entering in a five digit zip code number 99999.
Actual behavior
After configuring the input field with a mask of 99999, the placeholder text no longer displays and the user sees 99999. This behavior confuses the user as they don't know what to put into the text box.
