According to screenshot of gray outlined Secondary button: Could you reproduce your code in our snippets? https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/ Something in your project locally may overwrite styles. Try opening Chrome DevTools, navigate to this element, then go to Elements -> Computed and see what has overwritten your colors.

What exactly are you asking about? Do you need to add a pro package in snippets? No. Do you need to download a package for secondary btn to work on your project? no. You can also add MDB via npm. It doesn't matter how the package is added.
