Topic: Landing pages style not working

onict priority asked 1 year ago

Expected behavior Landing pages to look like in provided examples.

Actual behavior I initiated the project with mdb cli (frontend), copied the landing page example code to index.html and created style.css with the landing page exampe code. And the page is broken with no css applied.

Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.) The result can be seen here:https://onict-mdb5-free-standard.mdbgo.io/

We need more information to verify what is happening. Which starter did you choose? Standard, Standard + webpack or another? Did you make additional changes to the js code? The console show an error related to the js file.

I used mdb cli to init frontend project. After that I c/p index.html and style.css for the landing page. I made no changes at all, not a single sign so if the console shows errors that is from mdb code.

Sorry for that. It looks like its an issue with JS and CSS files. As a workaround, I suggest downloading a zip package and replacing JS and CSS files. We will fix it as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we managed to check what was causing the problem. I assume you are using a node version higher than 16. Try to change the node version to 16. it should help. This is of course a temporary solution. We will fix it as soon as possible.
